KOZHIKODE: The National Development Front (NDF) Keralam, has welcomed the decision of the State Government to withdraw the report given by it earlier, on the issue of granting of bail to the People's Democratic Party leader, Abdul Nasir Maudany.
In a statement here on Monday, the NDF general secretary, Nasaruddin Elamaram, said the decision to withdraw the report given by the former Government led by A. K. Antony, that the release of the PDP leader was likely to create law and order problems in Kerala, is in the right direction.
The present stance of the Government to inform the Tamil Nadu Government that it was not against granting of bail to Mr. Maudany was a positive trend, the NDF said.
