NDF chairman A. Sayeed has urged the people not to get misled by the campaign against the organization.
“The partial success of the agitation for implementation of
Narendran Commission findings and the strong presence of the
Thejas daily have created apprehension among the usual critics of our
organisation,” he said.
People have understood as to why the NDF has welcomed the reservation
package of the UDF Government. A section of the media had tried to
create an impression that there has been division in the NDF leadership
and cadres. That attempt failed even though media gave wide publicity
to the so-called ‘Save NDF Forum’.
“These people have come up with a serious allegation. Some vested
interests are trying to misinterpret the cartoon in Thejas daily which
actually criticises the Denmark prime minister. They are also trying to
mislead the leaders of the community,” Sayeed said in a press release. |
